Mos Def for President! He gets my vote.
I wish I could go back to that day on the L train in Brooklyn when Mos Def took a seat next to me. I would look him into the eyes and tell him how truely powerful he is and how much of an impact he has made. Instead I trembled and laughed and said a modest, "Hi." Only time I was star struck. The next time I saw him was on the platform at the 14th Street, Union Square stop. I was tipsy off a certain beverage called Sparks. I stood to his left. I looked to my right, he looked to his left. We made eye contact and I laughed. I slightly remember telling him I loved him.....
