Extraordinary

I'm a music freak. I'm always on the hunt for that new record that just changes me. I love going to see bands/musicians/amazingness perform.

The last concert I saw was last August. Passion Pit and Tokyo Police Club. St. Louis has been a bit dry in the concert world. That and I've been quite worried about being pregnant at a loud and crowded show.

Until last night. Jarrod Gorbel (of Honorary Title) rolled into town. I've seen him a few times and he just gets better and better.

Buttercup got to go to her first concert. And it was perfect.

Number 1

Today I had full intentions of doing something special for my Mister. Similar to what I did last year. But the morning started out chaotic and didn't really calm down until, well, just about now. I did, however, find time to bake his favorite red velvet cupcakes.

How are we going to celebrate the Hallmark holiday? Well, we start our birthing classes tonight. He's alllll excited. I, on the other hand, am a nervous wreck. I think because it is finally, truely setting in that I am going to deliver a baby. Our baby. This beautiful being growing inside me.

So, a song to honor my wonderful husband and beautiful baby that we will soon meet....

Sunday Brunch

Today we went to my parents for a last minute get together with 3 of my siblings. Mike and his girls, Tom, John and his girls. My other 2 siblings had prior engagements. It was a lovely day. First breath of fresh air in this yucky winter we've had. It was almost 60 degrees. The sun was shining, the snow was melting. I was a happy camper.

Oh No Let's Go!

I've been on a Prince-listening frenzy lately. Puts me in such a good mood. Drace and I were dancing to this one the other day. We couldn't help but imagine having little dance parties with our little one. She definitely takes place in the festivities where she is now. She moves around like crazy!
